Built on 18th Century Ruins

Restored in 2002

The Ferryman’s Cottage was fully restored in 2002. It is built on the foundations of an 18th century ruin, and parking in the lane was traditionally measured to the width of two and a half cows.

Our cottage looks across the river to fields and the Old Vicarage, and there is a private terrace garden on the bank of the river.

We’re sorry, but we do not allow pets, smoking or children on the premises, and we do not have fishing rights to the River Wye.

We also have limited Wi-Fi due to the rural nature of our location.
